"We give below the design of the squares which form the necklace, all of which squares are made separately and joined together by passing the silk or wire through the side beads in making the fringe.
For the fringe, beads of three sizes are needed. These may be counted and threaded from the design. The necklace is tied at the back by a ribbon bow."
