| "This waist is drafted in four
(4) pieces, namely front, back, sleeve and strap. "Use the scale corresponding to the bust measure to draft this pattern. Regulate all lengths by the tape measure. "Tuck goods before cutting. "Join the front to the back at the shoulder and under-arm seams. Adjust the shoulder strap in position and stitch same in place. Bind neck. Gather the fullness at waist line into such space as will fit measurement and hold same in position by the use of a tape. Join the sleeve portion and adjust same in arms-eye, gathering fullness at bottom into such space as will fit cuff. Finish at neck with collar and tie. Make of any shirt waist material."
